Road Map to Successful Class II restoration – Avoid being The Maze Runner - Lecture & Hands On
About this Seminar
Sponsored by Dentsply Sirona
Like the movie The Maze Runner, clinicians have to often go through a maze of materials and techniques to achieve predictable long-lasting results. In this lecture, we will explore to simplify the process of moving through the maze by introducing new materials and techniques in achieving successful posterior restorations. This lecture will provide a road map for the clinician to go from preparation to final polish of class two restoration in a clear step by step method that will provide proper anatomy and function with reduced sensitivity. Hence, together we will find our way to a predictable Class 2 restoration without The Maze Runner effect.
To complete the program, the afternoon portion will focus on putting into practice what we have learned earlier in the day. This will be a hands-on component where participants will get an opportunity to use sectional matrices and experiment using new bonding agents and composites to restore a class II cavity on a model. By the end of the hands-on session, participants will acquire the confidence to approach posterior composites in a systematic way that will help achieve clinically dependable results.
