This full day course will serve  as a practical review of evidence-based concepts related to pediatric dentistry. We will review current and emerging trends related to the management of patients from infancy until adolescence and how these concepts can be incorporated into your everyday practice.

Dr. Keith Da Silva


About Dr. Keith Da Silva


Dr. Da Silva is a clinician and researcher in the disciplines of pediatric dentistry and dental public health. In addition to his role as an assistant professor, Dr. Da Silva is also working on his PhD in public policy where his research will focus on oral health policy and access to dental care. He received his dental degree from the College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University; his pediatric dentistry training from the New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center; and his master’s degree in dental public health from the University of Toronto. Dr. Da Silva is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in pediatric dentistry, a candidate for fellowship in dental public health, and a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. After spending eight years in private practice, Dr. Da Silva shifted his focus and is now primarily involved in teaching and research activities. He is also active within the dental community, serving on the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry.
